Are you a gaming professional who knows how to turn a great room into a legendary one?
The newly renovated Riverwood Hotel is on the hunt for a Gaming Supervisor who is ready to own the floor, lead by example, and deliver a VIP experience for our loyal locals. With our traditional sports bar, Bonanza Lounge, bottle shop, function facilities, and outdoor courtyard, we are a true all-rounder venue, and our gaming room is at the heart of the action.
As part of the IRIS group, we believe in recognising potential and building successful businesses that integrate the best parts of hospitality and community development. We're looking for a leader who treats the gaming room like their own business, someone who is visible, high-energy, and knows that real people and places are the foundation of our success.
A day in the life of a Gaming Supervisor:
Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home in our Bonanza Lounge
Work closely with Venue Management to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all regulatory requirements
Lead and mentor the gaming team, sharing your knowledge and helping them deliver the best service in the business
Maintain a vibrant, secure, and customer-focused environment across the gaming floor
Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every single shift
Handle payouts, minor machine faults, and patron inquiries with professionalism and care
About you:
You've been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, senior attendant, or supervisor
You've learned from great managers and are now ready to step up and take ownership
You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
You understand compliance, responsible gambling practices, and safe gaming inside and out
You remain calm and composed under pressure, with excellent problem-solving abilities
You have a professional, well-groomed appearance and a positive, approachable attitude
You hold a current RSA, RCG & ARCG certification (as per NSW requirements)
If you're all about great service, happy players, and running a top-notch gaming room, we'd love to chat.
The benefits are good too!
Grow your career within the IRIS group, a rapidly expanding portfolio of over 57 venues, three vineyards, and more
Be part of a supportive, dynamic team in a beautifully renovated, community-focused venue
Staff discount benefits across the venue
Flexible rostering with a focus on work-life balance
Join a company that values real people and we know that our team is the foundation of our success
